I completed my GD Arts in 1989-90 and started my career in Advertising in 1987 while doing my college studies with specialization in Illustrator - converting visual thoughts into stylized illustrations for all print medias.

Those days illustrations were still done primarily by hand which made it so much more challenging and fun, which I practice it regulary today as well. Later, I had an opportunity to work with a software company, 'Ruksun Software Technologies' who were (in their early years) developing Internet applications for children.

The assignments were challenging because the complex functionality had to be presented to children in a fun and easy ways of interfaces, using different metaphors as well.

The projects also took our team to work in US (Seattle, WA) for more than 9 months which in itself was an exciting experience.

I am proud that I had the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology
that hadn't yet been introduced in India those time at 'Ruksun'
